Pillar 2 : PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN THE EEA.

WHAT CAN BE REIMBURSED

The departure and arrival countries must be within the European Economic Area (EEA). For a purchase, the invoice or payment must be in the employee's name.

  • All types of public transport tickets within the EEA, except air travel (train, tram, bus, coaches, metro, boats & ferries) linked to the employee. Tickets can be used by the employee, family members, or friends.

  • All private bus services.

  • All types of public transport subscriptions within the EEA, except air travel (train, tram, bus, coaches, metro, ferries) linked to the employee or a family member living under the same roof (a household composition certificate can prove this).


WHAT CANNOT BE REIMBURSED

  • Your employer may have disabled this option.

  • Air travel.

  • Reimbursement requests for payments made in the previous calendar year.

  • Reimbursement requests with a payment date earlier than the employee's mobility budget start date.

  • Scans of tickets without a fare or proof of payment.

  • Public transport outside the European Economic Area (e.g., Switzerland and England are excluded).
