WHAT CAN BE REIMBURSED
For a purchase, the invoice or payment must be in the employee's name. The purchase can involve one or more items, new or second-hand, from a store, online, or from a private individual.
Purchase of a bicycle, unicycle, scooter, tricycle, or closed quadricycle (maximum speed of 45 km/h), powered by muscle strength and/or electricity. Motorized tricycles and quadricycles, as defined in general traffic regulations, are eligible only if they are electric, designed for passenger transport, and, in the case of quadricycles, equipped with a closed passenger compartment.
Purchase of specific accessories attached to the bike (bags, phone holders, bike locks, GPS devices specific to bikes, etc.).
Purchase of mandatory safety equipment, as described in traffic regulations (helmets, fluorescent vests with reflective strips), and other fluorescent and/or reflective clothing.
Maintenance, repairs, spare parts, parking fees, and secure bike boxes.
Roadside assistance, insurance (theft, comprehensive, liability).
The possibility to purchase multiple bikes for yourself or family members, without the obligation of using them for commuting.
Purchase of a moped or electric motorcycle.
WHAT CANNOT BE REIMBURSED
Your employer may have disabled this option, making it unavailable in the reimbursement menu of the Olympus Mobility App.
Smartwatches, smartphones, vehicles pulled by pedestrians.
Bike racks (these can be part of Pijler 1 as an accessory for a company car).
Reimbursement requests for payments made in the previous calendar year or before the employee's mobility budget start date.
Purchases without a clear description of the items purchased or proof of payment.
