Below is an extract from the Belgian Official Gazette of 29 September 2023 on the simplification of the TCO calculation for the mobility budget.

This royal decree aims to lay down the formulas according to which the amount of expenditure in pillar 1 and the amount of the mobility budget itself must be calculated on the basis of actual costs, or can be calculated on the basis of flat-rate values. This allows for a

significant administrative simplification.

This simplification will only really come into its own when these TCOs are reflected in the offers of car dealers and leasing companies.
